About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Project Manager to oversee significant construction projects in Coventry . You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex building projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership to guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the company's reputation for delivering landmark developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and critical path activities.
- Manage project budgets meticulously, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
- Oversee procurement processes, including tendering, contractor selection, and contract management.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations on all project sites.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management , with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large, diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Experience with construction project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential.
