About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Aviation Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their organization in Edinburgh . This role is central to the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex aviation projects, from conception to delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of aviation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and schedules.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments, to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager, preferably in the aviation or aerospace sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies.
