About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Lead Telecoms Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their growing infrastructure division, based in Milton Keynes . You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in the fast-paced telecommunications industry . The successful candidate will drive project success through effective resource allocation and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, track progress, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and manage project changes effectively.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecoms projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, fiber deployment, and related telecom technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is highly desirable.
