About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of various telecommunications projects in the Milton Keynes area. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the telecoms industry . You will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives, balancing the need for office presence with the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively to all relevant parties.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion of that experience in the telecoms sector .
- Strong understanding of project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and experience with project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation for complex projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
