About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Senior Project Manager to join their distributed team, working primarily from Glasgow , Scotland, but fully remote. This role is integral to overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will leverage your expertise in project management to guide cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive strategic initiatives forward. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of multiple complex projects, from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote team members and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder requirements.
- Provide regular, clear, and concise project status updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Over 7 years of progressive experience in project management , with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
- Proficiency with modern project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Slack).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
- A recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
