About the Role
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical projects from their Newcastle upon Tyne office. In this leadership role, you will guide project teams, define strategic project direction, and ensure the successful delivery of key organizational objectives. You will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and championing best practices in project execution across all assigned initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and issues.
- Implement and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Over 8 years of progressive experience in project management , with significant experience in a lead or senior capacity.
- Demonstrable success in managing large-scale, complex projects in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly preferred.
