About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead their software development projects in Liverpool . This role is central to driving the successful design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions that meet client needs and business objectives. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects , from initiation to deployment and post-launch support.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements for software initiatives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional development teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and best practices in software engineering.
- Effectively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, key metrics, and insights clearly to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on software development .
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects using Agile principles.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
