About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager with a focus on Healthcare Facilities to join their team in Liverpool . This critical role involves overseeing the planning, design, construction, and refurbishment of healthcare buildings and infrastructure. You will work closely with hospital administrators, clinical staff, architects, and contractors to ensure projects meet the complex needs of the healthcare environment, adhering to strict regulatory and operational standards. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare specific project requirements and a commitment to delivering safe, functional, and state-of-the-art healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of healthcare facility projects , from initial concept and design through to construction and commissioning in Liverpool .
- Ensure projects meet all relevant healthcare regulations, building standards, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders to understand and incorporate their needs into project designs and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, controlling costs and mitigating risks.
- Oversee the work of contractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Conduct site visits and progress meetings, reporting regularly to senior management and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with specific expertise in managing healthcare facility projects or capital works in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operational requirements, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects within strict timelines and budgets. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience working in the Liverpool or North West England healthcare sector is a plus.
