Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex R&D projects, from initial ideation through to prototype development and validation.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring optimal utilization and adherence to project milestones.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication among R&D teams, cross-functional departments, and external research partners.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those inherent in early-stage research and development.
- Ensure adherence to scientific standards, intellectual property guidelines, and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a strong emphasis on R&D or technical project delivery, ideally within a scientific or technology-driven industry.
- Solid understanding of research methodologies and the innovation lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management and budget control for complex, innovation-focused projects.
- A relevant scientific or engineering degree is highly preferred.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
