About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical projects in Derby . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closure of telecommunications infrastructure and service delivery projects. You will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Manage project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively resolving challenges that may arise.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders through regular reporting and meetings.
- Manage project closure, including documentation, lessons learned, and final stakeholder acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing telecommunications projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
