About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead diverse projects within their expanding operations in Nottingham . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure and service implementation projects. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the project lifecycle within the telecoms industry. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, playing a key role in the company's growth and service enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of telecommunications projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Oversee risk management, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
- Manage project financials, tracking costs and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecoms or a related technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience managing infrastructure or network deployment projects.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
