Overview In this Project Manager role, you will lead end-to-end project delivery for real estate commissions in our Leeds team, ensuring client objectives are met on time and within budget. You will interface with clients, guide governance and reporting, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes strategic input at project conception, planning, and performance monitoring to drive successful, value-focused projects. This is an opportunity to influence large-scale real estate initiatives within a collaborative, global firm.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project management and service delivery
- Act as the primary client interface and ensure objectives, time, cost, and quality targets are met
- Manage projects up to 40m (and larger when advisory in nature, e.g., urban regeneration funding)
- Provide strategic input at project conception and define success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment
- Establish project governance, processes, and systems
- Produce detailed project plans and manage resource procurement
- Lead cross-functional project teams and monitor performance using KPIs
- Oversee change control and project finances
- Coordinate project information flow with client and consultants through meetings and reports
- Produce formal progress and status reports
- Interface with client and consultants throughout all project stages
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable
Key requirements - Proven experience managing construction/refurbishment projects, ideally in a consultancy environment (essential)
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline (desirable)
- Strong client interfacing and governance capabilities
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and KPI-driven performance
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage procurement
