Overview In this role you lead end-to-end project management for construction and refurbishment schemes in retail, acting as the main client interface to ensure objectives are met on time, on budget and to quality. You’ll work within the Real Estate team in Leeds, coordinating cross-functional teams and governance to deliver high-impact projects. You will shape project strategy, manage risk and finances, and report progress to clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project management commissions
- Serve as day-to-day client interface to meet objectives
- Manage projects up to 40m (or larger via advisory work such as urban regeneration funding)
- Advise on project conception and approaches to achieve client objectives
- Establish success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health & environment
- Set up governance, processes and systems for projects
- Produce detailed project plans and manage resources procurement
- Lead cross-functional project teams
- Apply performance management techniques (KPIs) to improve outcomes
- Oversee change control and project finances
- Coordinate project information flow with client and consultants
- Produce formal progress reports and oversee client communications
- Interface with client and consultants at all stages
Key requirements - Degree qualified in relevant discipline (desirable)
- Proven experience managing construction/refurbishment projects, ideally in a consultancy environment (essential)
