Overview In this role you’ll support UK Portfolio Maintenance, coordinating M&E and fabric projects to deliver value on time and within budget. You’ll work with WE&O and stakeholders to align maintenance with capital programs and lifecycle plans, driving efficient, compliant operations. You’ll manage a high-volume pipeline, ensure high-quality delivery, and contribute to risk, safety, and financial targets. This is a hands-on position at a leading global real estate services firm with a clear focus on workplace performance and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities - Manage portfolio of Portfolio Maintenance requests, focusing on M&E and fabric projects
- Coordinate with WE&O to align maintenance activities with capital improvement programs and lifecycle planning
- Prepare RFQs, present business cases, and oversee works from conception to completion
- Respond to reactive issues outside WE&O remit and support WE&O Managers
- Deliver CAPEX expenditure for Portfolio Maintenance and ensure cost efficiency
- Provide assurance for internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage client/stakeholder communications and provide regular progress updates
- Oversee vendor management and procurement in line with client guidelines and JLL best practices
- Monitor contracts, renewals, and ensure best value delivery
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and implement site safety standards
- Maintain quality and continuous improvement practices, including CEM requirements
- Achieve KPIs and SLAs through effective operations and service delivery
Key requirements - Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, building services engineering, building surveying or project management with at least 3 years post-degree experience
- Professional qualification (e.g. AssocRICS/MRICS, APC, APMP or PRINCE2) or active progress towards APC
- Experience in Financial Services/Banking environment
- Proven experience delivering M&E and fabric projects with understanding of system integration
- Excellent people skills and stakeholder interaction abilities
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements
- Strong PC literacy and ability to manage daily activities using various systems
- Knowledge of vendor management for specialised services
- Understanding of M&E system lifecycle planning, preventive maintenance, and asset replacement
- Familiarity with M&E commissioning, testing, and handover procedures
- Ability to interpret commercial contracts; budget management and financial analysis skills
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project; project management and procurement skills
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments, and lead improvement initiatives
