Overview As Senior Project Manager, you will lead large, complex hydropower projects from early concept through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget and high-quality outcomes. You’ll guide cross-functional teams, manage risk and governance, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. The role supports projects like Coire Glas, Koysha and Dinorwig, and may involve work for UK water companies on inspections and remediation. Responsibilities - Lead and deliver hydropower projects to time, cost and quality targets
- Proactively manage project scope, schedule, budget and risks
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across client, contractor and regulatory interfaces
- Governance, reporting and decision-making across project lifecycle
- Provide client-facing guidance, problem solving and due diligence support where needed
- Foster strong team dynamics and leadership to maintain high performance
- Support business development and project capture activities as required
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and compliance standards
Key requirements - Demonstrable experience managing complex hydropower, dams and/or energy-sector projects
- Project management qualifications such as APM PMQ or PMI PMP
- Strong core PM skills in cost, schedule, risk, stakeholder, resource and governance management
- Experience in contractor or consultancy environments on large Design and Build projects advantageous
- Highly motivated, diligent, and an exceptional planner, communicator and leader
