Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end project management commissions for real estate ventures, acting as the primary client interface to ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets. You will guide governance, planning, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful outcomes. The position sits within our Newcastle Real Estate team, offering exposure to diverse projects and the chance to shape how clients achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities - Lead project management commissions from inception to delivery
- Serve as day-to-day client interface to meet objectives, time, cost and quality targets
- Manage projects up to around 40m (larger if advisory work expands scope)
- Provide strategic advice at project conception and establish success criteria
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment
- Establish project governance, processes and systems
- Produce detailed project plans and advise on resource procurement
- Lead cross-functional project teams
- Apply performance management techniques (KPIs) to improve results
- Manage change control, finances and project information flow
- Ensure formal progress reporting and client/consultant interfacing at all stages
- Lead the team interface with clients and other consultants
- SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Key requirements - Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Proven experience managing construction/refurbishment projects, ideally in a consultancy environment (essential)
