Overview In this role you will lead insurance due diligence within live private equity transactions, acting as a trusted adviser to deal teams. You will assess target company insurance profiles, identifying gaps and informing valuation, structure and post‑acquisition strategy. Prepare concise reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders, translating technical concepts into practical, commercially meaningful insights. You will engage with insurers and market partners to secure best-value coverage while managing multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities - Lead insurance due diligence for live transactions across deal lifecycle
- Assess adequacy, structure and cost of target insurance programmes
- Review historical claims experience and identify coverage gaps or risk exposures
- Prepare clear insurance due diligence reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders
- Liaise with insurers/market partners to obtain terms and support negotiations
- Manage multiple concurrent transactions, maintain records and meet deadlines
- Advise deal teams on insurance implications for valuation, structure and strategy
- Engage with investors and advisers across high-profile transactions across industries
Key requirements - Experience in insurance broking, underwriting, claims or advisory
- Exposure to private equity transactions or complex commercial clients (preferred)
- Strong technical insurance knowledge
