Overview In this role you lead insurance due diligence within live PE transactions, acting as a trusted adviser to deal teams and investors. You assess target insurance profiles, cost and structure, and identify gaps that may affect valuation or post-acquisition strategy. Working across acquisitions, disposals and refinancings, you translate complex insurance concepts into practical, commercial guidance. You will engage with insurers and market partners to secure terms and best value while coordinating multiple deals under tight deadlines. This is a high-impact advisory position at a specialist consulting firm focused on P&C insurance in cross-border and multi-industry transactions.
Responsibilities - Lead comprehensive insurance due diligence in deal teams and transactions
- Evaluate adequacy, structure and cost of target insurance programs
- Review historical claims experience and identify coverage gaps or risk exposures
- Prepare clear, concise due diligence reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders
- Liaise with insurers and market partners to obtain terms and negotiate coverage to meet client needs
- Manage multiple concurrent transactions, maintaining records and meeting deadlines and service standards
Key requirements - Experience in insurance broking, underwriting, claims or advisory
