Overview In this Senior Project Manager role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of Liquidlogic software implementations for local authorities, social care, and education. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers, managing scope, budgets and risks while coordinating cross-functional teams. The position is customer-facing, with travel to UK sites, focusing on timely, high-quality delivery that transforms services through technology.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Liquidlogic implementations, migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects
- Own project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and governance across the lifecycle
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and act as advisor on technology and organizational change
- Ensure projects are planned, resourced, and governed to meet contractual commitments and customer expectations
- Review Statements of Work (SOWs) and contribute to project mobilisation activities
- Monitor financial performance, forecasting and overall project health
- Support resource planning and capacity management across multiple concurrent projects
- Provide leadership, coaching and line management to Project Managers and delivery teams
- Escalate and resolve customer challenges at a senior level
Key requirements - Experience delivering large-scale software implementations or transformations in complex delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and operational teams
- Proven ability to work in Local Government, Social Care, Education, Public Sector or related technology environments
- Track record of managing project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Knowledge of project governance, risk management, reporting and delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
