Overview In this role, you will lead the Transmission portfolio within Siemens Smart Infrastructure, guiding multidisciplinary teams across all project phases from client engagement to post-contract support. You will drive delivery excellence, safety, cost and schedule adherence, and cultivate strong customer relationships to identify growth opportunities. You’ll shape engineering solutions for HV systems and contribute to the UK energy transition. This is a hybrid role based in Hebburn with travel as needed.

Responsibilities - Lead the Transmission portfolio across all project phases (engagement, proposals, delivery, as-builts, warranty, post-contract support)
- Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver complete engineering solutions within safety, cost, time, and functionality constraints
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain delivery excellence
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Oversee design performance and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimise delivery capability and maintain competitive market position
- Provide strategic direction and growth for the Transmission portfolio across the business
Key requirements - Experience delivering High Voltage electrical systems, including Protection & Control solutions
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex engineering projects and teams
- Proven background within the UK Transmission & Distribution industry
- Engineering degree (or equivalent industry experience)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations, current Health and Safety legislation and risk management processes
