Overview In this role you lead end-to-end project management commissions for prestigious infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You act as the primary client interface, coordinating cross-functional teams and governance to achieve client objectives. The position offers exposure to diverse sectors (rail/aviation, highways, utilities) and opportunities to shape delivery approaches, risk management, and value for complex programmes. Responsibilities - Provide strategic advice at project inception to achieve client objectives
- Define project requirements and success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Establish project governance, processes, and systems
- Produce and maintain master project plans and schedules
- Manage project development against approved plans and targets
- Develop resource plans and procure resources
- Lead and facilitate the cross-functional project team
- Apply performance management techniques using KPIs to improve outcomes
- Oversee change control processes and budget management
- Manage project information flow with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks with planned actions
- Prepare formal progress and other reports
- Interface with clients, consultants, and stakeholders at all stages
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks
- Plan for and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues
Key requirements - NEC (3/4) accreditation preferred
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, or RICS preferred
- Degree qualified in a construction-related subject
- Mid-senior level experience in project management (implied)
