Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end project management for large infrastructure commissions, acting as the day-to-day client interface to meet time, cost and quality targets. You will work within the Midlands team on transport, utilities and highways projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes for clients. The role focuses on defining requirements, establishing governance, and managing risks and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. This is a client-facing, impact-driven position with a clear path toward senior responsibility. You will contribute to complex, delivery-focused programs that shape infrastructure and regional development.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project management for large/complex infrastructure commissions
- Provide strategic advice at project inception to shape approaches and objectives
- Define project requirements and success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Establish governance, processes, and systems; develop the master project plan
- Develop resource plans and procure resources; lead cross-functional team
- Monitor performance using KPIs; manage change control and budgets
- Oversee stakeholder engagement and client interfacing across project stages
- Identify and mitigate project risks; prepare progress reports
- Plan and manage Health & Safety and Environmental issues; ensure quality standards
Key requirements - Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Experience on large scheme projects (100m+)
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS or equivalent (preferred)
