Overview In this role you lead end-to-end project management commissions on large or complex infrastructure projects, acting as the primary client interface to meet time, cost and quality targets. You work with cross-functional teams to establish governance, define success criteria, and manage risk, budgets, and reporting. You will shape project delivery in transportation, utilities and highways, contributing to client objectives and project outcomes. This is a client-facing, impact-driven opportunity to advance to a senior position within a respected global practice.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project management commissions for large/complex projects
- Serve as day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives, time, cost and quality targets are met
- Prepare and maintain project definitions, schedules, and master project plan
- Develop resource plans and procurement strategies; lead cross-functional project team
- Apply performance management techniques and KPIs to improve project performance
- Oversee change control, budgeting and cost forecasting
- Manage project information flow with the client through meetings and reports
- Identify and mitigate project risks and plan risk responses
- Prepare progress and other formal reports for stakeholders
- Interface with clients, consultants and stakeholders across project stages
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues; plan for quality, safety, and environment
Key requirements - Experience in a complex stakeholder environment (preferred)
- NEC3: ECC Project Manager accreditation (preferred)
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, or RICS (preferred)
- Degree qualified in a construction-related subject (preferred)
- Mid-Senior level project management experience in infrastructure
