Overview As Senior Project Manager, you will lead capital water projects within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver on AECOM’s FRAM programme for the Environment Agency. You will manage the project lifecycle from inception through delivery, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met. You’ll mentor junior staff, establish governance, and foster client relationships to support new work. This role offers exposure to high-impact flood risk projects across multiple regions, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities - Lead and coordinate delivery of capital water projects within collaborative delivery teams
- Provide client-side project management support across option studies, development, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Establish governance structures with clear roles and accountabilities aligned to practice
- Manage stakeholder, H&S, risk, quality, schedule and contract management on client-side projects
- Support and mentor Project Managers, Graduates and Apprentices
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-functional team collaboration
- Contribute to business development, bid submissions and client communications
- Oversee subcontractors and remote resources to meet project requirements
- Ensure projects are delivered to client expectations for quality, cost, and time
Key requirements - Infrastructure project management experience, water industry experience desirable
- Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts, PSC and ECC (ECC accreditation preferred)
- Ability to work in integrated, multi-organisation teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong motivation with an expanding industry network
