Overview As Project Manager, you will deliver and manage internal and customer development projects while leveraging bid management experience. You will bridge Sales and Projects, ensuring accurate costed models and realistic schedules. You will drive project plans, monitor progress, and implement recovery actions to stay on time and within budget. This role offers scope to influence project execution across stakeholders and contribute to a performance-driven delivery culture.

Responsibilities - Act as Bid Manager for customer bids and assist in creating fully costed quotation documents and project models
- Prepare and present quotation and bid documents with costed models to senior management for review
- Provide initial bid resource estimates to functional heads to enable low-level scheduling
- Project manage allocated projects to meet time and budget expectations
- Create Project Plans with task breakdown, schedule and budget
- Coordinate with all lines of business to ensure data accuracy in the Project Plan and smooth Sales-to-Projects transition
- Request internal and external resources as needed to complete project tasks
- Measure progress against Plan, Schedule and Budget and update accordingly
- Obtain formal approval for any negative variance to revenue, profit or schedule
- Identify slippages and develop recovery strategies to achieve planned events
- Keep stakeholders informed of changes to timescales and agree remedial actions
- Assist the Financial Controller in managing financial instruments and timely invoicing against milestones
Key requirements - Bid management experience or exposure to bid management
- Keen eye for detail in delivering projects to time and budget
- Strong analytical skills for technical information gathering and analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or equivalent
- Good ICT skills and understanding of hardware/software
- Experience in coordinating across multiple lines of business and stakeholders
