Overview As Associate Project Manager at AECOM, you will support the delivery of capital investment projects for public and private sector clients. You work alongside a Project Director to manage scope, schedule and contract activity across the project lifecycle. You’ll build strong client relationships, lead project management commissions, and mentor the project team while contributing to business development. This role combines client-facing leadership with delivery excellence to uplift communities and enable complex programs to succeed.

Responsibilities - Client-side project management including stakeholder, schedule and contract oversight
- Primary interface with AECOM clients and building strong client relationships
- Lead delivery of project management commissions ensuring timely, quality outcomes
- Coordinate and sign-off all management information produced by the PM team
- Provide line management and training to staff reporting to you
- Participate in business development and cross-selling opportunities with clients
- Manage tender documents, appraisals and negotiations
- Support project delivery from option studies through to NEC contract administration and Takeover
Key requirements - Relevant degree or professional qualification (ideally MRICS)
- Work experience within a similar consultancy or relevant business
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of JCT/ NEC contracts
- APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
- UK passport holder with active UK SC Clearance or ability to gain clearance
