Overview As Senior Project Manager in Schneider Electric’s Process Automation, you lead high-value, complex automation projects across the UK and Europe. You will own end-to-end delivery, risk, cost, planning, governance and quality for multi-disciplinary teams and strategic clients, typically handling two major projects simultaneously. Your role blends technical delivery (DCS, SCADA, PLC, Safety, Cyber Security, Digital) with stakeholder leadership in a global, collaborative environment. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale automation projects for key clients
- Manage risk, cost, planning, governance, reporting and quality across a portfolio (two major projects at a time)
- Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Act as primary contact for strategic customers and stakeholders
- Deliver projects across DCS, SCADA, PLC, Safety, Cyber Security, and Digital solutions
- Support both Greenfield and Brownfield deployments
- Travel across UK and Europe (approximately 10%), with hybrid work in Warrington
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration within a global business
Key requirements - Strong industrial project management experience
- Experience delivering automation/control projects (DCS, SCADA, Safety, PLC)
- Background in high-risk, high-value project environments
- PMP or other formal PM qualification (preferred)
- Confidence leading multi-disciplinary internal and external teams
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
