Overview In this role you will lead delivery of rail and civil engineering projects within the Anglia portfolio, ensuring contracts are executed on time and within budget. You will align site teams with contract parameters and required safety and quality standards. You will monitor progress, manage sub-contractor resources, and report contract status to senior stakeholders. The position offers exposure to framework, contract, and tendered projects in a reputable rail civil engineering contractor. This is a hands-on role for someone who shapes project outcomes and supports business growth in a dynamic region.

Responsibilities - lead delivery of rail and civil engineering projects within the portfolio
- ensure site teams understand contract parameters and have required resources
- deliver contracts within programme and budget
- manage sub-contract resources with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency
- monitor contract progress and ensure objectives are met
- identify, agree and manage contract changes
- provide formal progress reports to Framework Manager
- identify business development opportunities
Key requirements - experience as a Project Manager in rail and civil engineering
- Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering (or equivalent experience)
- PTS / SMSTS
- experience as a Project Manager in rail contracting
