Overview In this role you will support NEC Clerk of Works and Construction Quality Monitoring across regional offices, focusing on site quality, surveys, and small project delivery. You will collaborate with the building surveying team to grow traditional services like defect diagnosis and Part Wall work. Expect to coordinate specialist consultants and work in Education and Justice sectors, applying MMC knowledge and rigorous contract governance. This is a hands-on, independent role with opportunities to shape project delivery and client outcomes.

Responsibilities - Deliver site quality monitoring across Education and Justice sectors
- Review on-site works for contract compliance, best practice, and manufacturers’ guidance
- Manage specialist consultants (M&E engineers, fire consultants, façade engineers) as needed
- Communicate findings clearly, including reporting on online information platforms
- Self-manage workload and contribute to design and tendering of small to medium maintenance projects
- Conduct condition surveys using tablet capture software
- Prepare for DBS and security clearance required for role
Key requirements - Chartered Building Surveyor, Project Manager or Architect (Essential)
- Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification
- Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
- Experience in condition surveys and site reporting
- Ability to work independently across design and delivery stages
- DBS and basic security clearance
