Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end project management for infrastructure commissions, guiding delivery for large, complex schemes. You will serve as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met within time, cost, and quality targets. You’ll establish governance, schedules, budgets, and risk plans, coordinating a cross-functional team to deliver value for transportation, utilities, and highways projects. This role suits initiatives that shape high-impact programmes and drive performance improvements across projects.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project management on commissions, ranging in size and complexity
- Serve as day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met
- Define project requirements, success criteria, and governance structures
- Prepare and maintain master project plan and schedules
- Develop resource plans and manage procurement and budgets
- Lead cross-functional project team and monitor performance via KPIs
- Manage change control, risk identification and mitigation
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain stakeholder communications
- Interface with clients, consultants, and stakeholders through project life cycle
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues; plan for quality, safety, and environment management
Key requirements - Degree-qualified (Civil Engineering)
- Experience on large scheme projects (100m+)
- NEC: ECC Project Manager accreditation
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, or RICS (preferred)
