Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for digital transformation initiatives, aligning with business strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure that all digital solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and processes, facilitating change management across the organization in Coventry .
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong focus on digital transformation or IT projects.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex projects within the West Midlands region or a similar corporate setting.
- Expertise in various project management methodologies, including Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is required; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a significant advantage.
