About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical projects within a fully remote -first organization. This role is central to driving strategic initiatives across the business, requiring exceptional organizational skills and the ability to foster collaboration in a distributed team environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, all while championing best practices in remote project execution. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of strategic projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, establishing clear objectives, scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget requirements for remote teams.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing robust mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among geographically dispersed team members and stakeholders using virtual tools.
- Ensure the consistent application of project management best practices and methodologies across all assigned projects.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide comprehensive status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and successes.
Requirements
- Over 8 years of progressive experience in project management , with a proven ability to manage large-scale, complex initiatives.
- Extensive experience working in and leading fully remote teams .
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management techniques.
- Strong proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, adaptable to a virtual setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly preferred.
