About the Role
Our client, a rapidly expanding software solutions provider, is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join their fully remote team. This role is essential for driving the successful development and delivery of innovative software products. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software projects, working closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple software development projects from initiation to deployment using Agile methodologies.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for remote teams.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, status reporting, and engagement.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and best practices in software development.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting continuous improvement in a remote setting.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, specifically within the software development industry.
- Proven experience managing Agile software development projects (Scrum, Kanban) in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate remote teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and deliver results in a remote setup.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PMP, CSM, or Agile certifications are a plus.
