About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and innovative software solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead their critical software development projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects.
- Define project scope, detailed requirements, and success criteria in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing, geographically dispersed software development teams using agile methodologies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and best practices in software engineering.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and challenges clearly and regularly to all stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement within the project management and development processes.
- Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in software project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), programming languages, and modern technology stacks.
- Experience managing remote teams and utilizing collaboration tools effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
- Must be highly self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fully remote work setting.
