Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex AI and Machine Learning projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, technical requirements, and success criteria in collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams of data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, and researchers.
- Oversee the development, training, validation, and deployment of AI/ML models and solutions.
- Ensure projects adhere to ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among project team members, research leads, and executive stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide regular, insightful status reports.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and project roadblocks.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within project teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, cutting-edge R&D projects.
- Strong technical background and understanding of AI/ML algorithms, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and related fields.
- Experience with ML development lifecycle, tools, and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, cloud ML services).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.
- Proficiency in Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
