About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for strategic projects.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and achieve desired business outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations as required.
- Champion project management best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on strategic or complex initiatives.
- Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working in or with the energy or technology sectors is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office collaboration in Aberdeen .
