About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cloud migration projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful transition of applications and infrastructure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, and business units.
- Assess current IT infrastructure and applications to determine migration strategies and best practices for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards throughout the migration process.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for cloud services and tools.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and potential issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee post-migration validation and performance tuning to ensure optimal cloud environment operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, including server consolidation, data center relocation, or network upgrades.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices is beneficial.
