About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation for construction projects.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including site managers, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee the procurement process, including tender evaluation and contract negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project finances, including budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and internal departments, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure the quality of work delivered meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.
- Manage the handover process, ensuring all project documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction or development projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and H&S legislation.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial controls for construction projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing site visits with remote planning.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIOB, RICS) are highly desirable.
