About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their expanding **Aberdeen, Scotland, UK** operations. This pivotal role involves managing the entire lifecycle of complex energy infrastructure projects, from inception and planning through to execution, monitoring, and final closure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and motivation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring performance and contract adherence.
- Champion best practices in project management methodologies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
- Proven experience managing large-scale energy, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets exceeding £10 million.
- Experience in the **Aberdeen, Scotland, UK** region is advantageous.
