About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their expanding **Aberdeen, Scotland, UK** operations. This pivotal role involves managing the entire lifecycle of complex energy infrastructure projects, from inception and planning through to execution, monitoring, and final closure. You will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring adherence to strict quality and safety standards, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and motivation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring performance and contract adherence.
- Champion best practices in project management methodologies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
- Proven experience managing large-scale energy, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets exceeding £10 million.
- Experience in the **Aberdeen, Scotland, UK** region is advantageous.
