About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular and transparent communication on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Oversee the execution of project tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, define solutions, and make key decisions.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance where applicable.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion best practices in project management and contribute to the development of PMO standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a strong emphasis on delivering digital transformation projects.
- Demonstrable success in managing projects with budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Experience in change management and business process re-engineering.
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) are highly desirable.
- Experience working within the Leicestershire region is a plus.
