About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Agile Project Manager to spearhead their digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of digital transformation projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor teams on agile principles and best practices to foster self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage project backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure the efficient flow of work.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and impediments.
- Track and report on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and team velocity.
- Champion a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation within project teams.
- Drive the adoption of agile tools and techniques across the organization.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among distributed team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on agile environments.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master is highly advantageous.
- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or similar agile certification (e.g., SAFe, PMP-ACP) is required.
- Deep understanding of agile principles, values, and frameworks.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for a remote role.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
