Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology and innovation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage and inspire cross-functional, distributed teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and processes, ensuring successful adoption and minimal disruption.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending their adoption where appropriate to drive innovation.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for technology solutions and services.
- Conduct post-project reviews, identifying lessons learned and implementing improvements for future projects.
- Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and best practices in project management and technology development.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on technology, software development, or innovation projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with their application in technology development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and motivating virtual teams.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, MS Teams).
- Experience with technology roadmapping and strategic planning is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (PMP, CSM) are highly desirable.
