About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead critical initiatives within their dynamic organisation based in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. You will be instrumental in driving complex projects to successful completion, managing cross-functional teams, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships, contributing directly to the company's growth and operational efficiency in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project execution, track progress against milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among all stakeholders.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor management to ensure financial and operational targets are met.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant track record in successfully delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and communication at all organisational levels.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is highly desirable.
