Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to final implementation and review.
- Develop and implement robust project governance frameworks, ensuring all projects are managed consistently and effectively.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and project team members, fostering their professional development.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure buy-in, alignment, and effective decision-making.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes proactively, implementing mitigation plans as required.
- Champion best practices in project management and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in project management , with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with significant budgets and cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of project management software and tools, including MS Project or equivalent.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification or advanced project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is mandatory.
