About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant development projects in the Milton Keynes area. You will be responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from inception and planning to execution and close-out.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Manage and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and timely approvals.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Construction Project Manager with experience in diverse project types.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and building codes.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites around Milton Keynes .
