About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to take the lead on a variety of exciting projects in and around Milton Keynes . This role demands strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of construction projects from award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design to final handover.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all sites.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage project risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to monitor performance and quality.
Requirements
- Significant experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
