Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure teams adhere to Agile principles.
- Coordinate with product owners, development teams, QA, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
- Communicate project status, progress, and key metrics effectively to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
- Champion best practices in software development project management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within remote teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on software development projects.
- Proven experience managing projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and common development practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
