About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical drug development initiatives from their Derby location. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from conception through to regulatory submission and launch. You will be responsible for defining project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of key milestones. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams in the development of pharmaceutical products.
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and governance committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or business-related field; PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex drug development projects from early-stage research to clinical trials or commercialization.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development lifecycle and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams effectively.
