About the Role
Our client, a respected pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of clinical trials in Derby . This leadership role involves managing cross-functional teams, budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of clinical research projects in compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the development of new pharmaceutical products, contributing to significant health outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive clinical trial project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage and mentor clinical trial teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee trial budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure all clinical trial activities are conducted in compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with investigative sites, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and other external vendors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science, healthcare, or related field.
- Significant experience as a Clinical Project Manager or Senior Clinical Trial Manager in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple clinical trials from initiation to close-out.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes , regulatory guidelines (GCP, ICH), and drug development.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and electronic data management systems.
