About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Project Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure to join their team in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK . This role is essential for overseeing the planning and execution of various IT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities. You will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business units to deliver robust and reliable IT solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, including servers, networks, and cloud deployments.
- Develop detailed project plans, scope definitions, resource requirements, and schedules for infrastructure initiatives.
- Coordinate with technical teams, system administrators, and network engineers to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for infrastructure-related procurements.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, server hardware, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
